Counseling Style
I am not the therapist who will sit in silence while you feel confused about where to begin. I prefer to have a much more informal relationship and dialogue. I know how intimidating therapy can be, and I want to help you feel less afraid to enter this space.
As a counselor, I draw from Feminist, Narrative, Relational Cultural, ACT, and person-centered modalities. That said, I believe that each person is an individual, and understand that what works for one person does not necessarily work for everyone. YOU are the expert in your life, and because of that, I want to know who you are. We will work together to see what matters to you and what paths we can take to achieve your goals.
